Coraline Cuenot was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds (CH). She discovered the piano when she was seven years old and studied with Ivan Klansky (Guarneri Trio Prague), Gérard Wyss, Valérie Brandt-Luong, Ventsislav Yankoff, Catherine Courvoisier, Edith Fischer and Jorge Pepi.
Coraline has won numerous awards (2nd prize at the Hamburg Steinway Festival, the Migros Prize, 2nd prize at the International (Piano?) Competition in Majorca, the “Friedl-Wald-Stiftung” Prize…). In 2008 she obtained her concert diploma in Ivan Klansky’s class at the Luzern School of Music.
Coraline Cuenot has given many concerts in Europe, in particular at the “Semaine Internationale de Piano” in Blonay, at Espace 2’s “Schubertiade” , at the festival
“Piano à Saint-Ursanne”, as well as in cities such as Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Zurich, Soleure and St-Gallen.
She is the founder of the “Racinotes” festival, which takes place every year in her native village, Le Cerneux-Péquignot. Furthermore, together with the dancer Laurence Sambin and the actor John Andrew Cunnington, she founded Cie C.
Coraline Cuenot is also passionate about chamber music. In particular she plays with the soprano Laurence Guillod in the duet “Alban and Achille” as well as in four-handed piano pieces with the French pianist, Amandine Savary.
